Do microchips track pets?

No, unfortunately microchips do not track pets, The microchip only contains a 15 digit number which can be read by a scanner. That is all the microchip does. Without a doubt as technology evolves microchips will be able to track pets. If you’re interested in tracking your pet you can buy GPS tracking collars which are super useful for long walks or if your pet is off the lead for walks.
